Rio Verde Derivados da Cana-de-açúcar Ltda., a family company, started its production of quality handmade cachaça in 1998.
Inoperative since 1989, the facilities in our micro-distillery of alcohol fuel, motivated by Proálcool, a project launched by the Brazilian government, underwent technical adjustments for the production of handmade cachaça.

Despite the simplicity of the installations, care in each detail of the production and the wish to expand and continually improve our products were always present. And it was then, in the year of 2000, that the company was restructured and modernized, increasing its productive capacity and preparing to properly boom its products.

We couldn’t forget to thank some people who are the reasons for all this and who has collaborated, with their determination, on our history: Dito de Guaxupé, who has helped us so much in the implementation of our project and who ended up becoming our great friend, Mr. João Boca, our alembic in charge, a humble person who has demonstrated will to learn and today feels himself fulfilled in his job. We couldn’t forget either the sugar cane plantation and harvest personnel, who work with dedication.

Today, after 5 years of work, we feel we are ready to offer products with the quality, aroma, smoothness and reliability that you deserve.
